Jung used imago for an inner image of another person—an image shaped by memory, expectation and unconscious feeling, rather than a perfect copy of who they truly are.

Every character lives in the fictional present-day city of Imago. Each begins as only a name and a few facts. The ambiguous image offers inspiration, reflection and room for projection. As you bring the city's people, places and circumstances together, your imagined version of each character gathers history and becomes an imago of your own making.

What story will you make from the image—and from everything placed before you?

When the story ends, keep one new person, object, place, location or event that appeared in your writing but was not part of the original arrangement. Name and describe it, and it will enter the rotation for future stories.
